A wingback armchair is a chair with a high back and “wings” that curve forward at either side of the head. Traditionally the wings sheltered whoever sat there from draughts; today they give a wingback its unmistakable silhouette and a snug, enclosed feel that makes it a favourite for a fireside corner, a reading nook or a bedroom.
Every wingback we make is made to order. You choose the chair, then the fabric, and it is built for you — designed in York and handcrafted in Nottingham.

How ordering works
