Occasional Chairs was born from interior designers with over 15 years of experience designing homes across the UK. We’re inspired by the beautiful fabrics designed by the most iconic design houses across the world. We want our chairs to inspire you to step out of your comfort zone, live bold and to appreciate that chairs can be function pieces of art.
In a world of mass-market ‘fast-furniture’, we wanted to slow down. Our chairs are hand made in Britian dressed in fabrics created by artists. The brands we use spend months crafting and designing the perfect botanical sketch or eye catching geometric.
We take the greatest inspiration from our design studio. We are inspired by the challenge of finding that ‘hero’ piece for you room. A unique chair that anchors a room together or starts a whole design scheme. We don’t design for a warehouse, we design for you.
